Building an International Consortium for Tracking Coronavirus Health Status
Chelonia Applied Science is participating the Coronavirus Census Collective. Jointly with leading researchers at the Weizmann Institute of Science and the Massachusetts Institute of Technology are spearheading an international consortium—the Coronavirus Census Collective (CCC)—to track the spread of the novel coronavirus. Our global collaboration is an open-access platform whereby voluntarily reported data can be used to predict the location of future COVID-19 outbreaks.
Data sources include self-reported health status surveys, results of diagnostic lab tests, and other static and real-time geospatial data. The CCC will serve as a hub for aggregating this large pool of information, and will provide relevant health care and governmental authorities with advanced notice on areas where outbreaks are anticipated.
